SUA Highlights | China Permanent Residence
In April 2026, Luis Garcia, the founder of SUA Engineering, was granted permanent residence in China by the National Immigration Administration.

Often referred to as the “Five-Star Card,” China’s permanent residence permit is issued to a limited number of foreign nationals who have demonstrated long-term commitment and contribution to the country. This recognition reflects Luis’ continued dedication to the Chinese manufacturing sector and his sustained engagement with local industry partners.
Luis first landed in China in April 2016. Over the past decade, he has been consistently involved in the tooling industry, contributing to the development of quality and engineering collaboration between China, Europe and America.
Since establishing SUA in Shanghai in 2020, he has expanded this role by supporting international clients in their projects across China, particularly in the automotive and railway industries.
This milestone reinforces SUA’s long-term presence in China and its ability to provide stable, on-site support. It also strengthens the company’s role in providing efficient communication and reliable technical execution between international clients and Chinese manufacturers.
